Learning Outcomes and Application This unit describes the skills required to liaise with stakeholders to acquire and manage resources required for search and rescue (SAR) operations.This unit applies to police staff involved in police search and rescue operations.The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to, particularly those related to resource acquisitions and financial delegations.Those undertaking this role may work autonomously and supervising teams while remaining responsible for reporting to senior staff. They would demonstrate adaptability across a broad range of contexts while performing complex tasks.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to unit at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.
